OCH AYE TH'NOO

Have just had a wonderful few days up in the Highlands of Scotland.  Spent lots of time of the train getting there.  Here are some sketches done to help pass the time away.  Not easy on a wobbly train.

Just used a tiny tin of paints and a water brush pen, and a permanent 0.5 black pen

Sorry to any of you thinking of buying this car, it is NOT as short in the bonnet as I have made it!  Once I had drawn it in pen I couldn't rub it out!

A few things I found in the newspaper.

All done in a 6 x 4 W&N sketch book

    1. It's spectacular where we went, but we hoped we had missed those pesky swarms of midges!

  3. They look great, I'm amazed people draw on buses and trains. I tried once in the car… gave me a headache and the lines were everywhere.

    1. I can't paint in anything with wheels on it makes me feel sick. Love the train if you get a seat with a table, it helped pass the time.

  7. Follow your travel is now a sweet habit. It seems to be a little 'sitting next to you, to browse what you paint in your little travel album.
I wish you a good continuation of the week, between works and colors.
