Welcome to Polly's Blog
Watercolour, humour, this and that

Thursday 3 January 2013

Have been trying to set up a page on Facebook.  Am I worn out mentally.  And I havent finished yet.  Taking a welcome break and back to my blog.  I saw Sharon Whitley had painted her walking boots, they look really worn out, do look at them ...... here are mine

I now have a more comfy pair, pity about my feet, which are not made for walking!

  1. Hi Polly, nice boots btw, in regard to fb page it took me a bit to get my head around it all and when I thought I had it still baffles me. I set up a page to show and share my watercolours as I don't really use fb personally so rather than have friends I encourage people to like my page. I have a link on my blog for this too. Good luck with it all

  2. Hi Polly - love your boots - I've done a few paintings of mine, love painting them and yes they are pretty worn out as they've done many mountain miles in all weathers! And as for you feet not being made for walking - I don't believe it for a second - you just put one foot in front of the other and keep on going! I love it but know it's not everyone's cup of tea! Have a great weekend x (the link doesn't work by the way!)

    1. Corrected the link, sorry about that. Got hammer toes with wearing winkle pickers with very high heels (yes I am THAT old you won't know what they are) now I'm paying for it. But I do love walking only more gentle these days.

  6. Very nicely painted, Polly! It's funny that I have been keeping an old, weathered pair of boots, thinking that I may paint them...
