First of all I'd like to wish you all a Merry Christmas or whatever Merry time you wish. And a Happy and Healthy and Hopeful New Year.
A new venture for me and something others have taken up on their blogs that I know of. It's a great idea and I am loving every moment. I have become a member of an Urban Sketching Group - Liverpool Urban Sketchers. We meet once a month and sketch around this lovely city. Here's a small idea of what we have done.

We have a small urban sketchers group here in Sicily and I find it's a great way to to get out and sketch somewhere different. I look forward to seeing more sketches in 2016! I love your santa by the way.

Polly, I love the Santa card!!! Merry Christmas to you! I'm so glad you started going out with the Urban Sketchers. There is nothing like getting out en plein air with friends. As you know I love it. Have a wonderful and Happy New Year!

I'm a bit late getting to this but I had to say I love these sketches Polly. I've also developed an interest in urban sketching and Santa bought me a nice book on the subject. I haven't yet found the confidence to look for a local group but I do intend to go out and do some sketching on my own. Your post is very inspiring. ;-)
