LIVERPOOL URBAN SKETCHERS

I've recently joined Liverpool Urban Sketchers.  Last Saturday we met to paint and see this Poppy Installation Artwork in the city centre.  It is called Weeping Window.  It is based on one that was around the Tower of London,  which was a tribute to lives lost at war.  It was very moving.  Here are the sketches that I did.

I must go again.

  5. Polly, first thanks for the visit to my blog... and second, I've gotten interested in the Urban Sketch 'movement' ... only problem is there are no others near me, but I still am working on sketches.
I'm really liking yours. keep it up .

    1. This group has not been going that long and is growing all the time. It doesn't feel so intimidating when there are others sketching near you.
