Anenome - Ruth H Harris (nervous doing this as she is a beautiful flower painter) |
A neighbour asked me to paint her house Carol Hodge, this picture was taken when we had such a long cold white winter |
Lupins - Judith Farnworth - very kind of her seeing as I don't like painting flowers! |
Neglected corner - Joanne Boon Thomas - Brush and bleach. Spot the Easter interlopers |
Self Portrait - Laura Moore - rather flattering I think! |
You have so brilliantly well Polly meeting this challenge, such variety and a lot of work. I can see why you would need a break. Enjoy and see you back soon
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Lorraine. And for following my challenge. I will enjoy the rest
DeletePolly, you've created an amazing series of beautiful watercolors. I admire and envy your ability to stick to painting and always find the time for it. My favourites are: the cream cake (yummy!), the anemone (of course), lupins, and believe it or not - farm equipment. I like the texture in it, it is so suiting the subject.
ReplyDeleteThanks Blaga. I just had the opportunity over the Easter Break to have the house to myself for 4 days and I loved it. Interesting you like the one I like least, the old machinery. Ta for looking at all my subjects, so kind.
DeleteOMG you are so fab at watercolours, there appears to be nothing you cannot paint, am so envious.

I just don't like to stick to one subject - variety is the spice of life! It proves to me what I need to work on trying all the different subjects. Thank you for looking at my work on this blog. So good of you.
DeleteI just don't like painting the same thing! This challenge has shown me what I need to work on. And I am envious of your unique work and your imagination. So we are quits! Thanks again for following my challange xx
ReplyDeletePolly these works just show how diverse you are at painting so many different subjects so well. Naturally flowers are my favorite and that anemone is gorgeous. Have a great day.
