ENGLISH BREAKFAST

What is in my head is a surprise to me sometimes. Well I wanted to paint a full english breakfast.  Don't ask me why. I only have one when on holiday in a hotel, and not this big I may say.  Too many calories by far.  Was quite a challenge but for once I am pleased with the outcome!  Funny how the things you think are going to be a problem sometimes give you the most satisfaction.

No calories when you are just looking!  But you can't smell that lovely aroma.  Ah well.......

  4. It´s so well done that I actually can smell it! I´m sitting here at the moment with a late late breakfast , and I can tell you that it is not that kind of tempting breakfast. Three slices of bread with cheese. And a cup of coffe´ ofcourse.

  6. Brings back memories of staying in B&Bs while walking in Cornwall and Devon a few years ago. I'd never eaten such hugh breakfasts; they kept me going all day. Very nice painting.

  7. Hubby (David) is making up for lost eating time after being poorly last week. He fancied bacon butties today so we popped down to the local 'cafe' on the seafront which is mentioned in my Blog today. Huge meals served there and popular with TV celebs and locals alike. Best bacon butties in the South I reckon.

Your drawing shows about half the quantity of the Seaview Caff's 'small breakfast' but looks just as scrummy

    1. Sounds like he is really on the mend. Actually I've got labyrinthitis which makes me dizzy and off my food. So glad I painted the breakfast before I was iffy. Do love bacon butties (Hm now there's an idea). Sounds a great cafe. Hoping to see your pics next week! Have a lovely weekend.

    1. Ofcourse, I don't like an english breakfast (it's all lies). The smells are the worse temptation, you are right.
