Not posting boring theory this time. Asking a favour of you. My hubby will be following a tournament at his golf club all over Easter, so I will have time to myself to paint, draw and listen to music. Sheer bliss. No tv! Anyhow, I can't think what to paint so would love you to give me some suggestions. I have most media but not inks (the dropper rotted) and am open to anything at all. What has fired me up is Sharon Whitley's monthly challenge and although it has been hard I have enjoyed being taken out of my comfort zone. You can just give me a subject, media or post a pic on my facebook page. (there is a link on the right of this page)
Hope someone out there will help and thank you just in case ................
I don't have a Facebook account but reckon you should have an Easter Theme .... bunnies or chicks etc?
ReplyDeleteWarm wishes from sunny Fuerteventura :-)
Good idea. Something Easterish it is Sue. Have a warm and sunny Easter (don't let it melt the chocolate though). Thanks for joining in xx
DeleteImagine you are going on holiday somewhere, paint some of the places you think you might visit and food you might eat. Other than that have you looked at the Wet Canvas reference library of images, there's always something to inspire there.

Have fun!
Have made a note of wet canvas but you gave me a good idea. So watch this space over the next few days. Thanks for your help. Have a Happy Easter.
DeleteHello Polly:) How about to give the Yupo a try?? You will love it, I promise:) Have a nice weekend all by your self:) I always love it having a whole weekend alone:) Good luck!
ReplyDeleteGot the Yupo! Playing with it. Great fun. Will do a post of my results good and bad! Happy Easter Renate, and thanks for your visit xx
DeleteSounds great spending some time alone... that can lead to great paintings :-) Some inspiration? Hmmm, I am quite boring with my subjects : portraits, flowers and still lives, that's about it. Don't think it is of great help, but I saw some good suggestions in the other comments :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for thinking! I have some good ideas to work from. Roll on weekend. Happy Easter xx
DeleteHeehee I've challenged you enough so will leave it to the others, some great suggestions here and I see you've done a couple which are both fab by the way - have got a landscape coming up for you for April's challenge - that's going to be a BIG challenge for me - I love walking in them but not very good at painting them!!!
ReplyDeleteOh such forward planning. I can't remember when I last did a landscape? Look forward to it. It's cos of your challenges I thought of my weekend workout. What have you started? Hope you're having a great Easter hol.
